I love the attention to detail that the story has, on how attentive everything is. From the date in the calendar, to the shadows in the rooms.

The art style is amazing and the idea behind the story is great. How Benny thinks he is real for his whole life then realizes he’s not if done very well. The only thing I think you could improve is maybe have Benny think he’s real for a bit longer and have him find clues until it builds up to the realization.

I seriously cried over this!! This is such a sweet story I love the art, characters and all of it!! The reveal is so cool and I love the change in perspectives and the dialogue too!!

Benny’s Adventures (Week 8)
This is a story about two friends, Benny and Maya, and as Maya grows up and starts to move on, Benny starts his discovery of how he might not be as real as he thought he was, but is in fact a made up friend based off of Maya’s dead childhood friend Ben. Now he tries to figure out how he can continue to live on when Maya is trying to move on from Ben and doesn’t need Benny the same way she used to anymore. The two have to work together to figure out how they can both get what they want and in the end, Maya was able to write a story with all of their adventures together and share it with many other kids, so that Benny was able to live on and help other children who may need a friend in their lives.
Thanks to my dad for being there to help me while I’m getting ideas out of my head for this story, you definitely helped with pointing out and helping me clear up a lot of the confusing gaps in the story.
