What I find compelling about this story is the reality of a world where heroes aren't going to save anyone. I also love the idea that a "failure" is actually a success - she made it to hero town and tried to make a difference. And, I love the idea that the solution is for not one hero but everyone to stand up for each other and be kind. Really lovely : )

Hi Mary. Your story has a very solid structure and it has a lot of heart too! I liked the personal growth renee went through. Id love to know more about why heroes disappeared, and what did they have that normal citizens didnt? The ending was so wholesome, i like that she inspired others to help each other and foster a better community too.

This story and narration is so strong!

It breaks my heart in a good way, it is so moving and I want to cry because this is so true. But I want to cry in a good way also, It is difficult to explain, it is sad and hopeful, moving. It is true but with the right amount of fantasy to make it work in our imagination and in our hearts.

The story is super clear and strong, I love how it works so well even with stick figures, the characters are super relatable, everyone is struggling and wants to get on with their lives trying to have nothing to do with the mafia, trying to stay out of trouble. I relate so much with the adults of the story, they have so many problems that the least they want is to confront mafia, but the youth still has strength and willpower, that is the part that breaks my heart and makes me want to cry, the spirit of the girl actually standing up and youth standing up with her while adults are already broken.

This is the strongest story I've seen in a very long time, there is no possible way I can think of to make it stronger, I wish there were more strong stories like these to watch in our daily lives instead of ones promoting violence or just non-meaningful things, excellent job! Please continue your career as storyteller, writer, story boarder, hobby or whatever you want but please continue making many many other stories and sharing them!
