Omg I love it!!! It made me want to cry!

This story is perfect, I really cared for both characters and it has a very important moral! Also loved the third act when roles switch to take care of the elder that have taken care of us! Actually you managed to make each act having a very clear and important facet in the life of the mother and daughter, this story is like a mastery in simplicity giving strong messages. Hats off!

It looks like we cannot vote anymore but I give you my highest score in human terms, your story deserves it! By the way, I've attended enough animation festivals around the world to recognize that this type of film would get a lot of attention in the children's area, probably the Brazilian "Animamundi" and the Spanish "Animac" would be interested just to give an example.

It is simple and clear enough already, no need to complicate it as a short film. Basically what you have, but animated simply, with the characters in color probably, and the background could be almost flat colors with a horizon without detail. The simplest form to animate is with cut outs and taking pictures to it, it could really work in your case!

I think this workshop is all about what you did, to be able to bring an important message out of our system and share it with the world, no need for fancy stuff :D

We all have a vision of life and this vision shows through our work, in your case your vision is showing a kind and tender view.

Of course we are complex human beings and have different views, I can sense feelings in your work and that makes the difference on feeling and understanding your vision or not! I think the work on feelings is the most important part we learnt in this course.

Please continue making stories and sharing them with the world! Honestly I didn't like how the final submissions were handled because in the end the most well crafted, or professional looking boards got most votes, not the best stories or the most meaningful. It is easy to get discouraged because of this kind of things, I did as well at the voting stage, but it is strange because I was very happy with my result when I first delivered, it was only after the voting when I got discouraged.

I'm glad my comment made you feel better, some people also made me feel better with their comments and understanding, it can get hard at times! By the way your reply also made me feel better :D
